I really enjoyed Trouble Maker. It was a fun and quick read that left me wanting more.
Despite not knowing each other Dylan and Morgan were perfect for each other. With a bit of a misunderstanding, they fell hard and fast for the other but both were afraid to show their feelings.
I was happily reading this and before I knew it I finished the book ! I can’t wait to read the next in the series!

Dylan is a professional hockey player who has had some trouble in the past and was traded to the New Orleans Bourdons. He comes home to his apartment one day and finds a girl in a wedding dress in his bed. Morgan had left her groom at the altar and thought she had gone to her friend’s apartment that she had a key for, but her friend had moved. Dylan and Morgan start to become friends and they get sexually involved with each other but Morgan knows that she must leave before she becomes too attached. Will Dylan and Morgan admit that they care about each other and want to try to have a lasting relationship?

Coming home to find a stranger in a wedding dress in his bed is not the way for Dylan to overcome the reputation that plagues him. When Morgan’s wedding doesn’t happen she finds herself in a tough spot so she is hoping her friend can help her out but things take a detour when her friend has moved out and Dylan moved in.

What starts out as an arrangement to help her get back on her feet becomes complicated when the chemistry between them ignites. Will this be the best thing to happen to either one of them or a recipe for disaster?

The interactions between them were fun and flirty and although they met by chance they found exactly what they needed in each other.

English review :

After the first volume, I wanted to read this book because I liked the summary. Since it was available in the ARC list on Booksprout, I took the opportunity to read it

This time, another Hockey player is in the spotlight. The relationship between the players is more sympathetic and a little more present.

The beginning made me laugh, even if for nothing in the world I would want to find myself in this situation.

The relationship between Dylan and Morgan is a bit of the same type as that of Nathan and Addy (volume 1) while being different. I am delighted to see that the characters in the first volume play an important role and are very present.

Morgan reveals herself very slowly. One wonders what is holding her back and making her want to run away. When I found out the why, I thought it was a stupid reason.
Dylan is easier to understand. He goes out of his way so he want to understand his actions. Sometimes he reacts before he thinks.

My reading was pleasant but I remain on a question concerning Morgan: what does she do for a living ? Still no problem of understanding with the author's pen.

The troublemaker finds the biggest trouble of his life sleeping in his bed

Troublemaker is the second book in the New Orleans Bourdons series. After reading and really enjoyed the first book, Rule Breaker, I was looking forward to this book. The story is about Dylan Gleason and Morgan Raymond. Dylan plays for the New Orleans Bourdons, a minor league hockey team. He definitely has a reputation as a troublemaker but even he was not prepared for what he found in his apartment one night. Well to be fair it was actually in his bed and was wearing a lot of white lace, satin and tulle. Morgan is a runaway bride in the truest sense of the word. She was wearing her dress on the big day but just could not make that walk and instead took off running. She ends up letting herself into a friends apartment in New Orleans as she just needs a safe place to be while she figures out some things. So an exhausted Morgan lies down in bed to get some sleep, not even bothering to get out of her wedding dress.
When Morgan wakes up to a strange man standing there it seems both are surprised but only one starts to scream. But when Morgan finally calms down they discover that her friend had moved, which she did not know, and the locks had not been changes, thus the key she had still worked. Now a broke Morgan is really in trouble but Dylan decides to let her stay for a while because he feels sorry for her. As a few days pass they spend time together and get to know each other, along with starting a "benefits" relationship. Morgan decides that she really needs to start over and the place to do that is California. But each time she tries to leave Dylan talks her into staying for just one more week. It seems that the troublemaker may have met the biggest trouble of his life, and one that he is more than happy to have. But not all is going to go smoothly as let's not forget there is a jilted fiance and his spiteful mother.

This book is fun, witty, sweet and has a lot of heat and sizzle. The hockey part is minor, just like the Bourdons team, so you do not have to know anything about the game. I am looking forward to the next in this series.

I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

4.5 Stars for Troublemaker ( New Orleans Bourdons,#2)
Book 2 in the entertaining series following the New Orleans Bourdons hockey team, each book is centred around a different player so they can be read as stand-alone’s, although I’m sure once you pick one up you will want to catch up with the other stories. This is Dylan Gleason and Morgan Raymond’s book and it’s a sweet, entertaining read that captivated me from the first page.
Dylan has a reputation as the troublemaker on the team but he is doing his best to get back on top of his game, the last thing he needs is a runaway bride with more baggage than a week-long road trip...
Morgan thought she had escaped to a friends apartment and she certainly didn’t expect to come across a extremely hot hockey player, she is a runaway bride and the last thing she needs is a new man in her life even if that man has her parts tingling like they have never done before....
This sports romance will keep you on the edge of your seat as Dylan try’s to help Morgan get her life back together. This book has all the feels, Dylan is sweet and caring and the chemistry between him and Morgan is off the charts, the banter is witty and it was great catching up with the rest of the team and their partners. Looking forward to the next instalment in this great hockey series.

When Dylan heard her story about how she had no money and nowhere else to go he let her stay at his apartment because he felt sorry for her even though his friends told him that it was probably a big scam. They start to become friendly and sexually involved but Morgan knows that she must leave before she becomes too attached. She makes plans to take a bus to California for a new start but each time he talks her into staying for another week. Will Dylan be able to protect her from her former fiancé’s mother? Will Dylan and Morgan admit that they care about each other and want to try to have a lasting relationship?

I give this story 4.5 stars. The story line seemed pretty implausible but it was still a fun story to read. The author did a great job making me like the characters and hope for an HEA. The epilogue provided a great ending for their story.

Another Bourbon was stung! This is Dylan’s story. Finding someone in his apartment when he got home was unbelievable. But a bride? Totally shocked! Morgan let herself into a friends apartment with keys that were given to her. Not realizing that this friend no longer lived there. So when this man startles her, she didn’t no what to do but scream. This is how Dylan and Morgan meet. LOL! Loved it! Morgan has walls. Knows only how to be independent and on her own. Dylan kinda keeps to himself. Only goes out with the guys from his team. So I guess you could say he’s alone as well. The instant chemistry these two have, is off the charts. Something about one another just draws them together. But when there is miscommunication, will it put the fire out? I just love how Lisa writes her series’s. Always a group of people that each get there own story. Brings the whole series together as one big happy family. If you loved Abbey and Nathan’s story, then you won’t be disappointed with this one either. Because let’s not forget that firecracker, Jacqui. She’s in this book as well. Definitely go grab your copy today.

4.5 stars

A wonderfully touching (and at times very funny) love story, the second book in the new ice hockey series, New Orleans Bourdons from Lisa Kamps, focuses on Dylan and Morgan.

Morgan truly is a runaway bride who mistakenly seeks refuge in the wrong apartment...Dylan’s. His reaction upon meeting Morgan? A wonderful start to their story!

What unfolds is a touching story of two people trying to overcome their past - Dylan’s with respect to his ice hockey career (trying to find his place after being moved down to a less prominent team) and Morgan, trying to figure out what she should do now that she’s not marrying her ex.

While their love story is touching and sweet, Dylan and Morgan also have chemistry off the charts...so this is sweet AND spicy!

Great supporting characters too, especially Jacqui and Addy who seems to show up whenever Morgan needs them most...especially funny when they realize Morgan knows nothing about ice hockey and they begin teaching her.

All in all, an enjoyable read!

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book, however, this is my honest opinion.

Wow. Another great story in this hockey series. I didn't think anyone could beat Addy and Nathan but I was wrong. I absolutely fell in love with Morgan. She is so determined to not rely on anyone and she has so much other baggage to drag around that it weighs her down almost to the point that she can't move. Then there is Dylan. He has his own demons of his own making to contend with, that keeps him holding back without explanation. Together they journey toward the future with blinders on. I love the world building of the team and these friends. The depth of the characters makes them real. The drama is exceptionally well done. I would like to know more about Dylan's past just because, not that it is really needed, it would just enhance my enjoyment. The meet cute is another reason this gets five stars. The book is well written, moves smoothly and logically and gives us passion, heat, goosebumps, a few tears and lots of joy. I cannot wait for the next one. I love revisiting with the team and Jacqui and Addy.

This book is about Dylan and Morgan. They meet when Dylan finds Morgan asleep in his bed wearing a wedding dress. It turns out she had a key from a previous tenant and didn’t know the lady had moved. We then find out Morgan ran out on her wedding and has nowhere else to go. Dylan, being too much of a nice guy, let her stay with him. We then see their relationship begin, with them encountering some issues along the way. In the end they work it out.

There were a couple negatives in this book for me, which factored in to my 4 star rating. First, I did not like Morgan’s character being that broke and homeless. I would have liked her character to not be so needy financially. Second, I did not buy that Morgan forget about the jewelry. I think that Issue is making her character come off as a bit stupid.

This is a good addition to this book series. If you enjoy romance books centered around hockey, then I think this is a book for you.

Dylan Gleason is a hockey player whose troublemaker ways got him passed along to the New Orleans Bourdons. But when he comes home and finds a woman he has never seen before in his bed, he’s not sure what’s going on, especially since she is wearing a wedding dress. Morgan Raymond is a runaway bride who had keys for Dylan’s place back when it belonged to someone else. He lets her stay and they both become comfortable with the arrangement.

Morgan realizes her ex’s mother will be looking for her and she needs to get away. Yet Dylan convinces her to stay right there. Is Dylan willing to protect her if her ex’s mother tracks her down? Are Dylan and Morgan ready to acknowledge that they want more from each other now? Maybe a committed relationship . . . or perhaps a HEA?

This was a cute kind of story that I was quickly chuckling over when they first met. The characters were likable and the story line, though unbelievable, was sweet. Grab your copy and see how they navigated their situation to finally decide what they wanted.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I also don't go into the plot of the story. As always, you don't need to read the first book in the series, Rule Breaker, before reading Troublemaker, but I highly suggest you read it at some point. (Along with the rest of Lisa's books.)

Troublemaker is a surprise meeting, unexpected love story. Professional hockey player, Dylan Gleason, acts out of instinct and then has to figure out if he messed everything up or not and Morgan is all in her head. The question is, can their friends help them put everything right? This easy read book doesn't have the suspense that some of Lisa's books do, but you're still left wondering which way it could go.

This is the second book in this series and this book belongs to Dylan. Dylan is such a sweet, caring and sometimes clueless guy. He thinks he has his life the way he wants it but when he finds Morgan in his bed, he realizes that perhaps she was just what he needed in his life. Morgan was such a strong female. She honestly thought she new what she needed but she really wanted to opposite of that. When you put these two together the sparks fly. Neither one of them is willing to admit to other how they truly feel. From the moment I picked up this book it held me hostage and it did not let go until I read the final chapter. I cannot wait to see where this series takes us next. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the second book in the New Orleans Bourdons series and like the first it is a smartly written book that totally involves you from almost the first page I guarantee you won't want to put this one down until you turn the last page

Dylan Gleason has a bit of a reputation and has been sent to New Orleans to cool his heels and think about the trouble he continually gets him self into but even he is shocked when he returns to his apartment and finds a bride there. Morgan Raymond has skipped out on her wedding and has used a key a friend gave her to their apartment The only problem is they no longer live there. Dylan is instantly attracted to his new guest but if people think he is trouble they haven't met Morgan she is about to turn his life upside down but he can't walk away.

This is book 2 in the New Orleans Bourdons series and it features Dylan and Morgan. He walked into his apartment to find her fast asleep in his bed…wearing a wedding gown AND he had no idea who this runaway bride was. I would have liked more information on who Cassie was and how she got a key to his apartment. I also would have liked more background information on Morgan. She is super defensive, all the time and you just know she’s hiding something. Dylan is WAY too trusting.  This is a romance that moves at warp speed but is super sweet.

Again, I needed more information on Morgan to make sense of her personality. The story line was good and the characters were fantastic! I am super curious about Jacqui and I know her story will be VERY interesting.

4.5 stars for the second book in this entertaining new series by Lisa Kamps. It was such a sweet story and I really enjoyed it. It’s pretty drama free, which is very nice. Dylan and Morgan are just two people who weren’t looking for anything and end up finding something very special with each other. Interesting way to meet for sure! I loved both of their characters and how they blossom with each other. Some lovable side characters certainly add a little fun, particularly Jacqui and Addy, and especially when they are policing Morgan’s activities lol. And hey there is even some hockey to enjoy! Looking forward to more from the Bourdons.

This is the first in the series by Lisa B. Kamps New Orleans Bourdons series and it's a great read that I enjoyed reading and Highly recommend. It's an awesome introduction into a new series and the New Orleans Bourdons with a well developed story and great characters with an awesome chemistry that pulled me in from the beginning and I had to read all through the night until I finished. It's Nate and Addy's story and was a great start to the series but was way to short and I can't wait to read more in this series.

Dylan comes home to find a woman in his bed. This is not usually a problem, but he doesn't know who she is or why there's a wedding gown. He's convinced that this is a welcome-home prank from his teammates. Morgan is a runaway bride, hiding from the groom's family. She got the key to his apartment from a friend, and she just stays. Dylan and Morgan are hilarious together - cute & sweet, hot & sexy, and hilarious together. The thing that I like best about Morgan is that she didn't betray the trust from Brandon, her groom. I'm looking forward to Tristan's story next...

Troublemaker is about chance meetings and learning to admit your true feelings. Dylan and Morgan were a fun couple to spend time reading about and I really enjoyed this fun and heartwarming read by one of my top 5 favourite authors. Like always, Lisa B Kamps finds the perfect balance between the couple's story and the fascinating game of ice hockey. The New Orleans Bourdons and the lucky women they meet are a family and I love how each story incorporates the characters supporting each other. As always, I'm left eager to see which character will get their own story next!

What do you do when you walk into your apartment and find a stranger on your bed? Well, if you’re Dylan Gleason you let her stay while you go out for the evening. Despite being told he’s an idiot (maybe not in so many words) for letting her stay, he does and falls in love.

Twists and turns have you wondering what’s next. You know he gets the girls, but will she leave in the process? Why is she itching to leave so badly? Follow along through Dylan’s story and find out who the girl is who captured his heart and had him changing his mind on relationships.

Morgan was due to marry Brandon, but it was going to be a fake marriage, so they mutually agree to call it off. She's stuck in New Orleans with no money so goes to her friend's flat, as she has a key, but Dylan, a hockey player lives there now.
Morgan stays for a week and then feels that she should go, but the girls arrive to take her out and , really, she doesn't want to leave.
Dylan likes her there too, but communication about their feelings is not something they do.

A good read from Lisa.

Dylan is know as a troublemaker.. He likes to have fun and doesn't care what happens.. When he wakes up in bed with a woman he doesn't recognize, who happens to be in a wedding dress, he wonders how much fun he really had.

Morgan, the runaway bride, she ends up in Dylan's apartment since her friend gave her a key.. Now she has to explain to him how she got there and why she has no where to go..

They are drawn to each other but neither knows what love is.. will the recognize it before it's too late?

This was again a great story in the Bourdon series!
I loved Dylan, he is just a big sweetheart when he finds Morgan, wearing a wedding dress, sleeping in his bed. He offers her to stay at his place while she figures things out. Off course they get feelings for each other and they are so sweet together.
Addy and Jacqui are also in this story, you just got to love Jacqui with her sass and witty answers!
This is a really good read and I cannot wait for the next one!

This fantastic ice hockey romance had me hanging onto every word from beginning to end with unforgettable characters and a smartly written story that I just couldn't put down. I loved the attraction and off-the-charts chemistry between Dylan Gleason, player for the New Orleans Bourdons and runaway bride Morgan Raymond. If you enjoy well-crafted sports romance with action on and off the ice, don't miss "Troublemaker" by gifted author Lisa Kamps. Book 2 in the Bourdons series about a minor league hockey team based in New Orleans. Dylan comes home one night to find a woman in a wedding dress in his bed and being the friendly guy he is, lets her stay for a couple of days. A couple of days turns into more when Dylan and Morgan become physically involved. Morgan has secrets and attempts to leave, but not only are her feeelings holding her back, but new friends Addy and Jacqui always seem to know when she wants to run.
This was an easy read without heavy angst, just enough to make Dylan and Morgan fight for each other. Looking forward to more of the Bourdons and would LOVE to see Jacqui find love!!

Morgan runs out of her wedding before she makes a serious mistake, only to end up in Dylan's bed....but wait, this is suppose to be someone elses apartment. There's some instant chemisty between these two and while Morgan talks about leaving Dylan seems to be able to talk her into staying. She knows she needs to leave before her ex's mother catches up with her but she doesn't want to leave Dylan. He's super protective of her and Morgan likes the idea of someone wanting her to stick around. Quick read and good addition to book 1. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review.

This is the second book in the NO series. It focuses on the team troublemaker, Dylan.
Imagine when he comes home to a woman in his apartment. Said woman is runaway bride Morgan who thought she was going to her friends apartment. Right keys, wrong tenant.
These two together were great chemistry.
A true hockey romance; which you need some hockey for, Ms. Kamp always delivers.
Loved these two characters and what they found in each other. Can’t wait for more in this series

Morgan a runaway bride with some secrets, Dylan a hockey player with some stupid decisions that leads him to be traded. He comes home to find her in his bed, and asks her to stay after finding out she is penniless. He takes her around town, introduces her to his friends and tries very hard to keep her there. The characters where fun and I loved that the characters from the other story where part of this one. I didnt like her reason for running but over well worth the read

This is another incredible story from Lisa B Kamps!!! This is the second story in the "New Orleans Bourdons" series the centers on the hockey team and it's players. It's a stand alone story with some connected characters. This is an entertaining and sweet story with a touch of drama. I love Dylan and Morgan!!!! The chemistry between the characters is amazingly hot but tender. There initial meeting is interesting and unique. I really like how their story develops. There are few unexpected twists and turns that have you captivated and hooked me and kept me glued.
